OpalSpan

Let Mech update the case while it works

Forge is now OpalSpan, and Whisper is now Mech. The demonstration below shows the current OpalSpan/Mech interface.

Every support job needs a result someone else can use. OpalSpan keeps the customer, device and case beside Mech’s technical work, so a colleague can pick up the thread and the customer gets a clear explanation.

Follow a targeted correction through checks and a useful Case handback.

One place for the work and its outcome

Start with the customer request in OpalSpan. A case can exist before you know which machine is involved. Once the device is connected, Mech can investigate, carry out supported software work, add its findings and keep the case current.

When the work finishes, the technician can see what OpalSpan found, did and checked. Mech can also prepare a customer message for review; your team sends it in its own voice.

More time for the next job

A colleague can continue without reassembling command output, chat history and memory. The technician spends less of the day writing up and more on the problems and people who need their expertise.
