Forge is now OpalSpan, and Whisper is now Mech. The demonstration below shows the current OpalSpan/Mech interface.
You finish a customer conversation and turn back to the bench. Which job needs you now? Mech’s conversation list shows work in progress, questions waiting for your answer and results ready to review, so you can choose where to put your attention.

Three cases, three different next steps
In this fictional work queue, the printer case needs an answer while a VPN job is running. The Windows-update investigation reaches a result ready for review. You can open the waiting question while the other conversations keep their place.
When the update investigation finishes, its illustrated result identifies a stopped service and records the checks already made. The technician can review that finding and decide the next action, rather than reopen every conversation to discover where each job stands.
Keep the list useful as the work changes
A status tells you where to look next. Opening the conversation gives you the finding, question or result to act on. A completed run is ready for review; the technician still decides whether the customer’s job is finished.
Try keeping your next support jobs in separate Mech conversations. Return to the list between tasks and pick up the one that needs you.
